Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Sloe Gin 0.5L (29% Vol.)
This German gin is produced in the Black Forest. If you have never had the possibility to try the special taste of the Monkey 47 gin, you may remember what the bottles look like. Old-fashioned pharmacy bottles largely support the design of the brown gin bottles with vintage-inspired labels on them. For each taste, the monkey on the label holds a different ingredient in its hand - on the label of the Sloe Gin it is shown with a sprig of sloe. Restricting the production to only 3000 bottles per batch, this gin is a very limited one.
Sloe Gin is a peppery, strong and complex spirit that has aged in stone barrels for about three months. In its nose it is very aromatic and complex with fruity notes and a nice flavour of juniper. On the palate it presents itself with a mélange of strong, earthy juniper and ripe red berries. These two major aromas lead to a highly refined and balanced tasting experience. Hints of almonds are followed by a nutty yet tart finish.
